As of January 1, 2025, all visitors to Israel must obtain an ETA-IL (Electronic Travel Authorization) before travel. Applications are made online at israel-entry.piba.gov.il. US passport holders are eligible. We send you complete instructions after booking — this is a simple online process that takes about 10 minutes.

Honest answer: this tour involves real walking — ancient sites have uneven terrain, cobblestones, and hillsides. We move at a comfortable group pace with built-in stops for prayer and reflection. Most participants in their 60s and 70s complete the full tour comfortably. Wheelchairs and mobility scooters cannot be accommodated at most biblical sites. If you have specific health concerns, tell us at registration and we'll discuss your situation personally.

Absolutely — and this is built into every FAVOR tour. We schedule devotional time at key sites: prayer at the Garden of Gethsemane, Scripture reading at the Sea of Galilee, worship at the Jordan River. For groups of 15 or more, we customize the spiritual itinerary around your pastor's vision and your congregation's needs.

Spring (March–May) and fall (September–November) are ideal: temperatures 65–82°F, manageable crowds, beautiful landscapes. Our October 2026 dates fall in the sweet spot — warm days, cool evenings, and the special atmosphere after the Jewish holidays. Summer is very hot, especially at Masada and the Dead Sea. Easter and Passover bring peak crowds — book well in advance if traveling during those seasons.

It depends on a specific tour, but mostly - a $500 deposit per person confirms your spot. $200 is non - refundable in any case. Full payment is due 180 - 90 days before departure. Cancellation 180 - 90–31 days prior: 50- 25% of total tour cost. 90 - 30 days or fewer: no refund. All cancellations must be submitted in writing. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance. Some tours are non-refundable and have only a credit for future travel options. Full booking conditions are provided at registration.
